NeptuneCafe is a virtual astrology magazine, one of the best I've seen online. There's something of the feel of coffeehouse conversations, if all the patrons were smart and savvy
astrophiles on espresso - the think drink. Don't miss Michael Wolfstar's weekly NewsScope column. Guest columns by well known astrologers - well, astrologers well known within the astrological community - can be quite an eye opener to people who think astrology begins and ends with Sun Signs. Who knew astrology could be popular without Sun Signs?

In the industrialized world, why is the U.S. the most violent nation?
The Scorpio Rising chart uniquely explains this tendency, especially when considering the problem as a health issue. The 6th and 12th houses are coming under increased stress. more
1. The Full Moon in sensitive Pisces on the 14th (12:39 am EDT) can bring a desire to escape routine patterns, especially regarding work. Beware of overdoing alcohol and/or recreational drugs. Business and financial arrangements conducted around this time may be misguided or quickly fizzle out. Establish clear limits and boundaries in order to avoid becoming victimized. The chart set in the nation’s capital features Black Moon Lilith at the Midheaven, a sign of scandal, fraud, and other dishonorable shenanigans.

2. Uranus is octile (45º) the U.S. Mars on the 9th, but this volatile, potentially violent combination is in effect all month. Since Uranus is nearing the U.S. 7th house, it stirs up military action, trouble with allies, and makes ongoing negotiations (as with China) filled with spontaneous, rude surprises that undermine shared goals and long-term objectives. Uranus here may bring severe weather systems to major population centers.

3. Saturn turns direct on the 18th while conjoining the Moon’s South Node in Capricorn. Saturn and the Lunar Node have been conjoined for the last three months, and are now beginning to go in opposite directions, finalizing the structural changes that they have brought to families and businesses. The older generation is transitioning into a new space, while the younger generation moves into their primary roles. Command, control, and communications are changing hands this month.

4. Jupiter squares Neptune on the 21st and is in effect from the 14th through 27th. These two planets are both in signs associated with faith and religion, and may inspire a deeper look at whatever spiritual path you’re on. Jupiter is forever questing to find the truth and Neptune seeks transcendental experiences. Those who feel they have found the truth may appear delusional, self-righteous, and over-bearing. Religion and spirituality aren’t the same, but each becomes stirred up at this time.

5. The Vernal Equinox on the 23rd (3:51 am EDT) takes place as the Sun in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries. Many will feel they are wounded in some fundamental way, either psychologically, physically, or spiritually. Watch out for unusually aggressive and self-assertive individuals who are compensating for inherent feelings of weakness. The chart for this astro-event has heavy-duty implications for American leadership, with the Democratic candidates winnowing down to a handful, and Trump looking ever more incoherent.
